Kohima, August 24 (MExN): To commemorate the Golden Jubilee year, the Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) has instructed all its branches to adopt three villages each as “Golden Village” to nurture and on the occasion of the NStCB Golden Jubilee, the best performing village in the district will be awarded.
In this regard, NStCB PR Hill branch formally adopted Kidima Village and Phesama Village as “Golden Village” on August 11 and 14 respectively and the above villages were sensitized on Banking Literacy with Vizo Kere Branch Manager NStCB PR Hill Branch and Bendang Aier AGM, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development as resources person.
On the occasion, the participants comprises of village council, VDB, church, farmers, students and women organization were imparted briefing on the background and objective of the “Golden Village” adoption programme with “Go Digital”.
The other highlight of the programme was signing of MOU between the Bank and the Villages.
