Students of School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University at the Fresher’s Meet on September 9.
Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): The School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University (NU-SET) celebrated its 10th Fresher’s Meet on September 9 at Town Hall, Dimapur.
Vishal (IPS), Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dimapur was the chief guest. He exhorted the students they were fortunate to be studying engineering since engineers are the builders, designers and problem solvers in the society, said a press release from NU-SET. He encouraged them to study hard and prepare to face the challenges during their course and pass successfully and contribute to the development of the society.
Prof. S. K. Sharma, Dean of NU-SET, gave a short speech where he emphasized on the committed faculty members and quality education being offered in the first School of Engineering in the state of Nagaland. He expressed strong belief that sincerity and honesty can always help the students in becoming good and responsible human beings.
Biswajit and Imlisangla were crowned Mr and Miss Freshers respectively.
