Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): The National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) Dimapur conducted free medical camps at Veterinary colony, Eros Lane, Jasokie and Sunrise colony in the month of February. A total of 283 patients, including pregnant women, elderly and children, availed free health services and counseling on health information, proper nutrition, timely ANC checkup etc. The medical team was headed by MO i/c UPHC, Burma Camp, Dimapur, Urban Consultant, GNMs and ANMs of UPHC, Burma Camp and UPHC, Duncan Bosti supported by the Urban ASHA. MO i/c UPHC Burma Camp Dr Anguto in a press release stated that NUHM has coverage of 23 wards in Urban Dimapur and conducts two free health camps every month under its jurisdiction.
