DIMAPUR, APRIL 10 (MExN): The Nagaland University students’ Union NUSU (L), Lumami kicked off their 20th annual varsity sports meet on April 9 at Dr T Ao Sports complex, Nagaland University Lumami Hq.
K Chumseli Anar, President NUSU (L), exhorted the participants by stating: “Champions believe in themselves, even when no one else does”. He encouraged the participants to play in the true spirit of sportsmanship with discipline, teamwork, sacrifice and winning and losing graciously.
He said extracurricular activities are an essential ingredient of the overall education process. Chumseli meanwhile lamented the poor infrastructure development at the lone Nagaland University, Lumami Hq. He also pointed to the deplorable road condition, water scarcity, renovation of Dr T Ao sports complex, helipad and the university guest house.
