NVSP-EVP launched in Tuensang
Administrative officers and BLOs of the district after the launching of NVSP-EVP at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang on September 1.
Tuensang, September 1 (MExN): The National Voters Services Portal – Electoral Verification Programme (NVSP-EVP) was launched at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang on September 1.
The launching programme was attended by administrative officers and BLOs of the district. Renben Mozhui Assistant Election Officer (AEO) Tuensang introduced the details of the programme.
The main objectives of the NVSP will enable searching names on the E-roll, tracking application status, request duplication EPIC, to know ERO/BLO details, to know AC/PC and privilege Service for registered users (EVP), stated a press release from the AEO, Tuensang.
The AEO also trained the BLOs on how to go about the work for registrations, deletion, transfer and to register in the NVSP Portal. It was also made to understand that the NVSP-EVP is to help the voters verify their self identity in the E-Roll.
Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Mohammed Ali Shihab also read the Election Commission’s message to the members.
He viewed that underdevelopment of the district has direct relation to the election processes so any anomalies should be rectified so that the political parties will find no room to purchase the bogus votes in favor of the candidates, which will help result in electing the genuine leader so as the developmental works shall progress.
The DC also came up with a quote “clean electoral roll for clean election,” based on which he encouraged the BLOs to work with commitment and sincerity.
