OHYO to conduct surprise checking

Kohima, April 12 (MExN): Taking serious note of anti-social activities under the jurisdiction of Officers’ Hill Colony, Kohima, the, Officers’ Hill Youth Organization (OHYO) has informed that it will be conducting a surprise check.   OHYO stated that it has observed illegal activities like indulging in all kinds of intoxicants and immoral activities while adding that dubious activities have also increased in and around Indoor badminton stadium, over bridge below Raj Bhavan, Lady Mill’s road adjoining the Officers’ Hill and TCP Gate.

  The Organization in a press release has informed that the colony youth shall conduct surprise checking and may question any person/persons found loitering after 8:00PM and if anyone is caught involving in immoral activities, drinking, creating disturbances etc, then they would be forwarded to judicial custody and their names, address, etc., published in the local dailies.   Meanwhile, taking note of the vehicular congestion created by the defaulters along Lady Mill’s road, the OHYO appealed the law abiding citizen of Kohima to strictly follow one way traffic rules at Lady Mill’s road, which connects P.R.Hill road - TCP Gate via Officers’ Hill colony.   The enforce time is from 8:00 AM- 5:00PM within colony jurisdiction.   Defaulters would be questioned and will be forced to take back the same route.   Regular offenders will be penalized and further necessary action will be taken against them, a release received here stated today.
