DIMAPUR, JANUARY 10 (MExN): One person has been arrested after a car accident on January 9 left three people dead. The accident occurred at around 10:30 pm on Sunday night when an Innova hit a Baleno at the 4th Mile Diphupar ‘A’ gate junction. Three persons who were travelling in the Baleno were taken to the CIHSR but succumbed to injuries. Police informed that the driver of the Innova was arrested from Nepali Khashiram, Dimapur at around 3:30 am, January 10 morning after a manhunt. According to the police, the accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol and as per preliminary investigation he was overspeeding when the accident occurred. The accused is under police custody and investigation is on, police added.
