Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The Assam Rifles have claimed the arrest of an individual for possessing 67 kgs of ganja from near Dimapur Railway Station on January 6. According to a defence press release, troops of the AR along with police representative launched an operation and apprehended an individual along with 67 Kg of ganja worth Rs. 1,40,000. The accused, identified as Vemechu Puro, 48 years, was later handed over to the Police along with the recovered items.
