Wokha, October 17 (DIPR): The Department of Power has introduced online electricity bill payment for Wokha district. The new system was launched by the Vice Chairperson of DPDB & DC of Wokha, Wezope Kenye during the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting on October 17 at DC’s conference hall, Wokha.
E.E. Power, Er. Abenthung Ngullie highlighted the importance and advantages of the online payment and SDO (E), Er. Orenthung S. Ovung demonstrated the functioning of the system. One can log on to the department website www.dopn.gov.in. and type in consumer ID and send to 7005405146 for detailed information of billing.
The Department of R&B E.E., Chenithung highlighted the department activities in the said division. While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the Board also forwarded for approval to the higher authority registration of SUYAN Welfare Society, Pangti village.
The DC also informed the members who are yet to submit the list of employees and drivers and department report on vision 2022 to submit the same at the earliest. Following new members were welcomed during the meeting – SDEO, Wokha, Orenponi Lotha, DDEO Lebu Krose.
