Open letter to Director of I & C Department Kohima

Through your esteem daily I would like to draw the attention of the Industries and Commerce Department regarding the plight and fate of aspiring Entrepreneurship Training at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship at Guwahati, during the year 2004-05 in the hope of supporting oneself through honourable means and with dignity and undeniable fact, rather fact well known to all and sundry.

The lackadaisical attitude of the people at the helm of affairs discourages most youths from opting for livelihood through honorable means. Added to this is the exorbitant rate of interest charged by the private money lender which happens to be the most readily available source to finance expenses involved in obtaining Government assistant.

In view of the above and for the sake of the trust and confidence of the parents and guardians of the unfortunate aspirants it would only be proper if the department could give a written statement on the fate of Turkey Entrepreneurship trainees.
With high expectations,
