Organisations condole former Zeme Council Vice President’s demise

Dimapur, May 9 (MExN): The Tangkilui Nkwa, Poilwa expressed shock at the demise of Hairongbe, who passed away on May 8.

Late Hairongbe served as Chairman, Poilwa Namci Village Council, Vice President, Zeme Council Nagaland. Presently, he was serving as Chairman, Poilwalui Society, Dimapur, it stated in a press release on Sunday.

“We have lost a leader who has so much more to offer to us, and his premature death has left a big vacuum for us,” it said and offered condolences to the bereaved family.

In a separate statement, the Poilwalui Dimapur also grieved the demise of its President Hairongbe.

“He was outspoken, honest and a capable leader who always voiced out the right of the people,” it stated.

“He served as a Chairman of Poilwa Namci village council, Chairman Naga Colony, UNB, Burma camp and Vice-Chairman of Zeme council Nagaland. His demise has left a huge vacuum to our community in particular and the whole of Zeliangrong in general,” it added.

The Poilwalui Dimapur conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
