Kohima, June 4 (MExN): Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) in partnership with Department of School Education organised a teacher training and orientation on June 3, introducing the Wipro Earthian programme.
The event took place at DEO Hall Kohima, where educators gathered to engage in dynamic workshops and gain insights into the project’s objectives and implementation strategies, stated a press release.
The orientation session was led by Imcharenla, Sustainability educator, who provided an in-depth overview of the project’s framework and the roles of participating teachers and students. The Attendees participated in interactive workshops, equipping themselves with the tools and knowledge necessary for successful project implementation within their Schools.
“We are thrilled to integrate Wipro earthian as a pilot program in few selected schools through this we will witness the enthusiasm of our educators as they prepare to bring this innovative and creativity in their classroom beyond the four walls,” said Benny Dzuvichu .
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, Emilo Patton, DEO, Patricia Vizo ADEO, ADC- Asst. District Coordinator, District Mission Authority Rokoneino and Subonenba Longkumer, Director, Community Educational Centre Society.
The programme saw participation from 10 schools with 18 teachers.
