PAC-NCD questions ‘patriotism’ of NSCN (IM) over non-Naga recruits

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 24 (MExN): The Public Action Committee Against Illegal Immigrants and Naga Council Dimapur (PAC-NCD) on Friday expressed shock over the alleged report of non-Nagas employed in the service of the Naga national movement.

A press statement from the media cell PAC-NCD said the “double standard game played by the NSCN (IM), to collect tax by recruiting non-Nagas was totally uncalled for as it degrades the uniqueness of the Naga issue.”

It maintained that when the illegal immigration issue and unemployment issue has been the talk of every kitchen and every concerned Nagas, employing non-Nagas to serve in the Naga National movement invites “more desperadoes and scoundrels to swamp on the land that the Nagas have fought for since the beginning of the movement.”

The PAC-NCD also questioned the ‘patriotism’ of the NSCN (IM) by recruiting such “questionable illegal immigrant/non-Nagas to be in the service of the Naga nation.” It has therefore demanded all the Naga national groups to immediately terminate all non-Nagas from its services in toto.
