Phek, March 25 (MExN): The Phek Area Public Organisation (PAPO) has informed that the boundary dispute between Khuzami and Mutsale has been resolved. PAPO, President Vezhehu Vero and Joint Secretary, Rakhusu Veswu in a press release stated that the boundary dispute between Khuzami and Mutsale was “almost a century long conflicts (1933-2022) which has dragged them into frequent confrontation, drained away resources of both the villages over the years besides victimising a dozen youth till recently.”
The PAPO has acknowledge the collective support of MLA Kozholuzo (Azo) Menu and Razouvolie Dozo, DC Phek, Vesupra Kezo, SP Phek, Alezo Venuh, Coordinator, WC, NNPGs, Zhopra Kedalo, NNC/FGN, WC, NNPGs for their support and assistance throughout the trials in resolving this age old conflicts. The associated also appreciated the co-operation and confidence reposed on PAPO by the two villages, supported by village council Chepoketa, Ketsapo, President, PAPO Youth front for timely deployment of their youth volunteers on the ground and the weeklong labour in the dense forest rendered by Jury Team.
