Wokha, September 28 (DIPR): A new six storey building constructed by Pangti Baptist Church (PBC) at Etsuchukha colony, Wokha Town was inaugurated by PBC, Pastor, N. Manglio in the presence of members on September 27.
Pastor, Wokha Town Baptist Church, Rev. Sulumo Ezung who was the speaker in the programme said the huge building has come about through God’s knowledge and wisdom. He stressed on the need to maintain respect, love and care for each other to live happier lives.
Former Director for Higher & Technical Education, L. Edward Lotha in his speech said that the main aim of this construction is to usher the missionary for the kingdom of God in our life time for salvation.
According to the Finance committee Convenor, Nyimtsemo Ngullie the total expenditure of the construction incurred was Rs 2.crores Seven lakhs and Four hundred fourteen. The building was constructed with 35 rooms including 300 capacity for the conference room. It took six years and seven months to complete the building. On behalf of the Construction Committee, Zanao Jami highlighted the building estimate.
The programme was led by PBC Associate Pastor Bichamo Yanthan and Deacon Nkomo Kikon invoked God Blessing. Elder citizen Tsenithung Ngullie presented special song while vote of thanks was given by Pastor Manglio
