PCCI complaints of poor telecom service and call-drop

Phek, February 19 (MExN): The Phek Chamber of Commerce & Industries (PCCI) has raised concerns over poor telecom service in Phek district.

While the general public, business communities and students are depending on the internet for their works, there is “no sign of network improvement since January 2021,” The PCCI, President, Chetezo Akami and General Secretary, Thupuhu Venuh in a press release pointed out that “network fluctuation and call-drop problems are a serious matter.”

PCCI expressing concern over the service providers appealed the concern authorities to deliver proper network service at the earliest.

‘Allow 100% seating of passengers’
Meanwhile, the PCCI also requested the Government of Nagaland to allow 100% seating of passengers as per capacity in all public transport vehicles, as the fare had been hiked double the rate since lockdown. “As relaxation has been done for educational institutions and religious places, normalizing of seating capacity will help the general public plying in public transport vehicles,’ it maintained.
