
Kohima, August 1 (MExN): The 44th Foundation Day of Puliebadze Club Jotsoma (PCJ) was observed on August 1 at Jotsoma Village Council Hall.
Speaking at the programme as resource person, Krurovi Peseyie emphasized that, the club being a voluntary organization for the welfare of all, should also extend voluntary and charitable services even beyond the village jurisdiction. He also called upon the young people to preserve and document the invaluable cultures, history and good practices of our forefathers and pass on undistorted facts to the future generation, according to a press release.
Puliebadze Club Award for the year 2016 consisting a citation and cash of Rs. 5000/- was awarded to Vikhelhou Nagi, who scored the highest in HSLC exam 2016 amongst the candidates from Jotsoma village.
Commemorating the day, a mass plantation drive was carried out along the approach road of Mt. Puliebadze, for which, seedlings were provided by the Kohima Forest Division.
The programme was chaired by Vizovoto Nagi, President PCJ, invocation prayer was said by RD Peseyie. Medo & friends presented special number while Kezhalezo proposed the vote of thanks.
