Phek District Music and Arts Society (PDMAS) in collaboration with Nagaland Choral Directors Association organized a choral conducting workshop from February 3 to 6 at Pfutsero Town Baptist Church. Muluvoyi Nienu, Youth Secretary, CBCC exhorted the participants in the introduction programme. A total of 34 choir conductors from 19 churches under Phek district participated in the intensive training on choral conducting with resource persons from NCDA including Vimezo Iralu, Hito Kiho, Kevisekuo Sechu, Pfotokho Kayina and Mhonroni R Lotha. The PDMAS and NCDA deliberated to conduct a choral competition in September 2022 as a follow up. The trainees will form their own choir and the NCDA will mentor the choirs.
