Peace Channel, Vedhik IAS Academy to promote civil service aspirants

Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): Peace Channel in collaboration with Vedhik IAS Academy Bangalore has decided to promote civil service aspirants from class 8 onwards.

 It is an initiative of the Catholic Church to provide a platform for the students of the North East India to be capacitated for civil service examinations within the country and abroad.

The Catholic Bishops Conference of North East India felt the need of training leaders from childhood and the responsibility has been entrusted to Peace Channel, a press release from the Peace Channel informed on Thursday.

Vedhik IAS Academy is the first academy in the country to enrol students in its programmes and received international recognition and awards.

The academy is being run by former civil administrative personnel, the press release informed.

Throughout the years, the academy had produced more than 15,000 civil administrative servicemen throughout India and to the United Nations as well.

Annually, 40% of the successful civil administrative servicemen in the country are products of the academy, it added.

Chairman Vedhik IAS Academy, James Mattam said that the academy offers coaching starting from class 8 and can be extended on a lifetime membership programme through both online and contact classes. A number of mock exams will also be conducted before appearing for any of the civil service exams, he informed.

Learning materials will be provided before every online class for clarity and assessment will be made after every online class. The coaching will cover more than 1000 hours throughout the programmes. The Academy has a vision of achieving ‘One School, One IAS’ throughout the country, he added.

Fr Dr C P Anto in his welcome address spoke on the importance and the need of training the children to develop confidence, competency, and taste for civil services exams. Interested students and parents have been informed to contact Peace Channel at its Dimapur office.
