Dimapur, April 8 (MExN): A one month crash course on music organized by Peace Channel concluded on April 7 with evaluation and action plan. Twenty nine participants attended the course, which started on March 7.
According to a press note, along with the continuous training on different music instruments, the participants also got trained on various life skills during the crash course.
At the valedictory function on April 7, Director of Peace Channel, Rev. Dr. C.P. Anto exhorted the trainees that music can connect all - irrespective of tribe, religion and region. “It is the language of the heart who can understand every one and everyone can understand all,” he stated.
He also urged the students to continue with same enthusiasm and commitment and interest to learn and achieve the set goals in life.
Hard work is the only way to success, which in turn enable all of us to lead a contented and happy life, Dr. Anto told the students. “We all have to undergo so many painful processes in one’s life. Break the boredom of laziness and strive to achieve the set dream goal.”
He also gave away the merit certificates to the trainees.
Earlier, RK John, Project Coordinator, introducing the event encouraged the students to excel in whatever art they learnt from the institute. All the trainees exhibited their talents like musical hums, guitar sob, piano and drum exposing the art they learnt during the course.
