Kohima, December 18 (MExN): Peducha Baptist Church (PBC) dedicated its beautiful new church building located at Kiruphema village jurisdiction, under Kohima district on December 17.
Rev. Zhabu Terhüja unveiled the new church building and opened the House of God to the congregation.
Rev. Terhuja delivering the sermon reminded the gathering that “Christ is the foundation of the church” and referred to Matthew 5:14 which reads, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on hill cannot be hidden.”
He acknowledged the faithful devotees for their generous contribution towards the church construction and said just as they had contributed generously, God would shower abundant blessings.
Stating that the new church building is a sign of unity, he urged the gathering to pray for the growth of the church.
Medolhoulie Vielie, Secretary, Church Construction Committee, gave the building construction report and informed that the church, with a seating capacity for 900 people, was built at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 80 lakhs.
Dzüviho Kin, Convenor Church Construction Committee, thanked all the believers for their constant financial and prayer support during the construction period which took 23 months.
