Pensioners’ verification in Kohima, Mokokchung

Kohima/Mokokchung, October 3 (MExN): The Senior Treasury Officer, Kohima North has informed all the pensioners drawing pension from the Kohima North Treasury that as per Central Treasury Rules (CTR) 368, the annual physical verification for the current year 2017 will be conducted as per the schedule given below: Live Pensioners – October 9 to 19; Family Pensioners – October 21 to 26. The verification will begin from 12:00 pm on all the days.  

All pensioners concerned have been informed to check their serial numbers and date on the notice board and come with the original documents and necessary certificates for family pensioners. The pensioners will be verified in sequence. Meanwhile, contact numbers of pensioners who are unable to come on genuine grounds (bedridden etc) should be submitted to the office whereby an officer will be sent for physical verification, according to a press release.  

No further extension will be made beyond the grace period, i.e., October 20 for live pensioners and October 27 for family pensioners. No payment will be made without annual physical verification, informed P. Ajung Amer, Senior Treasury Officer, Kohima North in the release.

Mokokchung: In pursuance of the Central Treasury Rules to verify and update the existence of pensioners, Senior Treasury Officer, Mokokchung, Toshizemba has also informed all the pensioners to obtain Life Certificate Form from the Treasury Office by producing their Identity Card “D”, duly renewed from the Pension Office on all working days. No pension payment will be made without verification, he stated.  

Verification according to different wards of Mokokchung Town and ranges will be conducted on the following dates: Tsusapang ward, Kapayong, Sungkomen, Tongdentsuyong, Alempang, Alongmen, Dilong, Yimyu, Kumlong and Mongsenbai ward on October 16; Majakong ward, Artang, Marepkong, Lichaba Lichen, Salangtem, Kichutip, Sangtemla, Arkong, Penli, Aongza ward on October 17; Ongpangkong and Asetkong ranges on October 18; Langpangkong, Changkikong, Tsurangkong & Japukong ranges on October 20.
