Peren, September 6 (MExN): The monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on September 6 at DC’s Conference Hall, District Headquarter Peren, under the chairmanship of DC Peren cum Vice-Chairman DPDB Peren, Sentiwapang Aier.
According to a DIPR report, the DC welcomed all the representatives from various departments and reviewed last month’s meeting minutes.
The board deliberated on upgradation of Ramzie School, Jalukie from primary to an elementary school which was proposed by DEO Peren, Ramdi Thou; as part of the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) a sum of Rs. 50 lakh has been enhanced for all the constituencies which will be utilised for the construction of Community Hall at Tening town & Multi-Utility Complex Watch Tower at 7th Peren A/C; under Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan, district level Cycle Rally to be conducted on September 13 at Jalukie town and Local School level Painting Competition on the 'Nutritional Food' is scheduled on September 26 at Tening town which is a part of Poshan Maah Tentative Action Plan for the month of September.
During the meeting, a short presentation was also shared by the delegates of District Beauty & Aesthetic Society, Peren wherein different achievements made in the past years were highlighted, and the Society further sought financial assistance from the members of the house.
