Pessao citizens plea for road diversion

Dimapur, March 30 (MExN): The Pessao and Changlu Village Council have informed that since March 17, 2013, the PWD main road between Monyakshu and Pessao have been cut off. This was stated in a press note issued on behalf of Pessao and Changlu Village Council, and appended by SP. Chemang. VC Chairman Pessao, N. Sheyao. VC Chairman Changlu Village, N. Bopai Hd. GB Pessao, Langin Hd. GB Changlu Village, MS. Chemang. VC Secretary Pessao and S. Chungba. VC Secretary Changlu Village. 

Therefore, the signatories urge and appeal to the Chief Minister,  Minister PWD (R & B) and Advisor DUDA Nagaland to initiate a constructive step and facilitate a construction of new road not through Monyakshu but  Diversion road from Changlangshu village to Pessao with 
immediate effect.

The note also stated that right after the conclusion of general election, checking on every passing Vehicle to Pessao village till today are being conducted.  Also, illegal ban on the supply of essential commodities to the shops of Pessao since March 8, 2013 wasa lleged, which it stated, “completely deprived the livelihood of general public of Pessao village”. It was also stated that a vehicle carrying pigs hired by some Pessao NPF party members on March 15, 2013 was not allowed.
