Pfutsero Govt College observes cultural day

Pfutsero, August 24 (MExN): Pfutsero Government College (PGC) observed its 37th cultural day with the theme ‘Retaining Originality’ on August 24.
PGC, Mass Media Committee, Convener Neiko Ritse in a press release stated that the programme was organized by the Pfutsero Government Students Union with the Cultural Committee of the college headed by Neichupe Kapfo as the convener.
Dr. Moanochet Longchar, Principal (PGC) in his short exhortation, asked the students to have positive cultural outlook and continue to preserve and enriched the culture that were passed on to us by our ancestors. He also encouraged the students to actively take part in cultural activities and pass on the rich culture that we have to the future generation.
The cultural day events includes competition on Indigenous songs, duet, quartet and group, re-enacting of folk lore (drama), stick walk, wrestling and Tug of war. The day concluded with prize distribution and a vote of thanks by Wekhrotso Krome, Social and Cultural Secretary, PGCSU.
