A wrestling event at the annual sports meet of Phek Government College.
PEHK, FEBRUARY 20 (MExN): The 40th Annual Sports Meet of Phek Government College was held from February 16 to 18 under the theme ‘Invigorating Unity.’
The inaugural guest was Razoukhruyi Dozo, President, Phek Area Sports Association. The inaugural session was chaired by Ranjan Sha and welcome note was delivered by Vinituono Krose, Asst. Professor and Convenor of Sports Committee, while the keynote address was given by the Principal, Dr T Tiakaba Jamir.
The three-day events included football, volleyball, wrestling, chess, table tennis and many other track and field events. The students were divided into four teams – Phoenix, Panther, Falcon and Firefox, in which Falcon team emerged as the overall champion.
