Kohima, March 4 (MExN): The Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) in collaboration with District Administration (Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, DLCW- MSK) and Phek District Legal Services Authority will be observing International Women’s Day on March 7 at Badminton Stadium, Phek town from 11:00 am.
It will be celebrated under the theme “Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights for an equal future.”
Nagaland’s planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs, Neiba Kronu will be the special guest while MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu will be the guest of honor.
Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) president Mikha Kenye will share greetings while Sano Vamuzo, former chairperson, Nagaland State Commission for Women will exhort the gathering.
Bhavani Sri, SDO (C) Phek and Nodal Officer BBBP Phek will make a presentation on BBBP. Muzivolu T Therieh, District & Sessions Judge Phek and chairperson PDLSA will make a paper presentation on the theme.
