Our Correspondent Phek | April 7 Former minister Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today inaugurated Phek Town welcome gate here today. Speaking on the occasion, Azo said ‘progress in life can only happen if we bring new initiatives, plans, concepts and new ideas’, adding the present ideas and plans are not enough for us to progress further. Our progress will come to a grinding halt unless we refill our engines with the wisdom of inspiration and the fuels of fresh and new ideas, Nienu opined. The former Minister said, as leaders and as legislators one should take stock of his life and performances in life once in a while, whether under their leadership they are making a differences by making other lives better or not, whether development is taking place in their respective constituencies or not as these will have very crucial impact in the coming general election with just round the corner. Expressing his happiness and satisfaction over the fulfilment of long awaited dreams to provide good roads, Nienu eulogised the quality workmanship of the Contractors and added, ‘the roads of the district head quarter finally become a reality thereby being set a living example to the people of the town. Expressing his indebtedness to God the Almighty for all that has happen, Azo appreciated the contractors and the PWD (R&B) department specially the EE, PWD (R&B), Phek Division and all rank and files of the department for the completion of the work as scheduled and at the same time for providing the best roads with quality workmanship in Nagaland.
