DIMAPUR, JANUARY 12 (MExN): Several national workers of Phom Region have declared unification amongst themselves and held a combined meeting of NSCN (IM), NSCN (K) and FGN of the region. The press release issued by Tali Phom, Raja Peyu of Phom Region stated that the combined meeting for declaration of Unification was held at Orangkong village on January 4, 2008.
Some of the national workers who attended the meeting were Longtok Phom (Tartar), Mukshing Phom (Raja Peyu), Leinyak Phom (APO), Tali Phom (Raja Peyu), Pangjung Phom (Khupur), Metphong Phom (Khupur), Pongyuk Phom (Captain) and Tako Phom (Srgt. Major).
The release stated that the unified members had resolved to end killing among Naga brothers and support the Naga peace and reconciliation move.
