Photo Walk Kohima: A walk with a difference

A group of enthusiastic photographers took a walk from Dream Café, Ser’s Bazaar through the Night bazaar this evening with the intent to capture the beauty of the Hornbill Festival at night and to rediscover the life and beauty of Nagaland.
With a vision to encourage, develop and to provide a platform to the upcoming photographers, Photo Walk Kohima is a travel and tourism series initiated by Alaphra Group and endorsed by the department of tourism, government of Nagaland.
Alaphra Group also has plans to open a photography Club in Nagaland which will be open to anyone, desires to join and also to hold seminars in different districts of Nagaland in the coming months.
 “Our organization is dedicated to promoting openness, innovation and opportunity. Simply put, we want to make Nagaland better for everyone”, informed the group.
The group of about 15 photographers were led by upcoming local fashion and wedding photographer, Kekhrie Zakie. The selected photos will be later uploaded at www.govisitnagaland.com.
Fashion photographer from National Geographic Channel, Vishal Sabharwal also gave tips about photography to the participants.
