PS Sreedhar Pillai will be sworn in as the 20th Governor of Mizoram on November 5.
Pillai will take oath during a swearing in ceremony to be held at Raj Bhavan here, which will be attended by chief minister Zoramthanga, ministers, legislators, representatives of all political parties and civil society organisation leaders.
Gauhati High Court Chief Justice Ajay Lamba is likely to administer oath of affirmation to Pillai.
Pillai is likely to arrive in Aizawl on November 4 for the oath taking ceremony.
PS Sreedhar Pillai was appointed by the Centre on October 25 as the new Governor of Mizoram.
He is the third man from Kerala to become Mizoram Governor after Kummanam Rajashekaran and Vakkom Purushothaman.
Meanwhile, a 3-day assembly session has been summoned commencing from November 19, assembly secretariat officials said on Sunday.
In this regard a detailed programme has been chalked out by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) chaired by Speaker Lalrinliana Sailo.
Question and answer hour will also be held on November 20 and 21.Officials said that at least 149 starred questions, 6 unstarred questions and one paper has been submitted for laying in the house till Friday.
