Plan to privatize Kisama heritage complex

In a minute of meeting of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio with the officers of Works & Housing, Art & Culture, and Tourism & IPR recently, it felt that the tourism department should immediately explore the possibility of privatizing the running of the Kisama Heritage complex by inviting expression of interests even from the private entrepreneurs. Kisama heritage complex has been the permanent site of the annual Hornbill Festival of Nagaland. The meeting, held on January 10 last, also felt that the tourism department should identify at least one tourists spot in all the districts.
