DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 12 (MExN): The Pochury Region FGN has clarified apropos article which appeared on September 5 in a local daily under the caption ‘FGN informs’ by the Transit Peace Campers.
Clarifying the report, Pochury Region Midan Peyu Victor M. Fithu in a release said that Khrochu Fithu son of late Shehshe of Reguri village has joint the Pochury Region FGN on April 16, 2005 and he was appointed as Razou Peyu, Sub-region on June 12, 2006. However, contrary to his oath of office and secrecy, Victor M. Fithu said in the release ‘instead of serving the nation and honouring the will of our people he was found to be corrupted and seeking his individual benefits and secret nexus with the reactionary group NSCN (IM).’ The Pochury Region FGN therefore, terminated Khrochu from the post of Razou Peyu, and engulfed Pochury Region NNC/FGN on July 3, 2007.
‘Therefore, Khrochu Fithu, the present incumbent Razou Peyu of Pochury Region FGN by the Transit Peace Campers is totally self styled and baseless’, Victor said in the release. He further added that the Transit Peace Campers are trying to confuse and misled the Naga people and trying to disintegrate the people unity by propagating and self styled Ahza (order) publication in local dailies.
