Appeals citizens to come forward with consolidate effort
Longleng, February 8 (MExN): “Police force is constantly active in combating drugs trafficking and to provide safe traffic regulations in Longleng district.” This was stated by senior SP Longleng, H Kuhovi Sema during the Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting held at the DC conference hall on February 8.
A DIPR report stated that Sema urged the members to extend their cooperation and support to the Police force to do away with the problems. “Unless our people extend their cooperation and support to the Police force, police alone cannot solve the issues,” he stated. The senior police officer also appealed to the citizens of the district to “come forward to clean the mess with consolidate effort.”
While welcoming the members present, the chair of the meeting, ADC, Longleng D Robin exhorted the members to attend the planning board meeting regularly and share their views and problems for effective and positive outcome. He asserted that active participation and healthy discussion by members in the meeting would bear positive outcome and contribute to the growth and development of the district, stated a DIPR report.
Bautung Government Higher Secondary School, Longleng and Soil & Water Conservation Department presented their respective activities through power point presentation. The Sericulture Department will present their activities in the next DPDP meeting. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by the chairman.
