Pooja Film Production officially released the sequel of their Nagamese movie ‘Notun Jevan’ starring Asen Jamir and Ajay Kumar here at the Tourist Lodge, Dimapur on April 24.
A modest gathering of family, well-wishers and the film crew witnessed the screening of the movie during the event. Ajay Kumar, film director and one of the main leads of the story shared that the filming process was done across the state. Giving insight into the story, he said that it is about the struggle of being a youth and the temptations that come into their lives. He added that the movie’s moral is on finding salvation through belief in God.
Ajay Kumar further noted that the movie can be viewed for free on YouTube and therefore encouraged the public to go watch it as it would help them continue making more films in the future.
Khekato Awomi, VP of Hongkong Market, as the special guest thanked the film director for promoting local talents of the state. He also hoped that Pooja Film Production would continue making more movies in the future and urged them not to give up in their activities.
Pooja Films Production was first launched in 1993 with their first movie being released in 1995. Till today, the production company has made over 105 films in its entire existence. They have also provided platforms to over 300 different actors and actresses who have gone on to have budding careers in Bollywood and other media industries.
