Tseminyu, September 4 (MExN): The Poshan Maah celebration was officially launched at Tseminyu by the Department of Social Welfare under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) project.
The event took place at the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) office premises, with Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Monosangla Ozukum serving as the special guest.
In her address, EAC Monosangla Ozukum urged Anganwadi workers to be proactive in ensuring the successful implementation of the Poshan Maah program within the district. She emphasized the importance of focusing on pregnant women and children, ensuring that the government’s facilities are effectively utilized by the community.
CDPO Tseminyu, Menokhrielie, in his welcome address, highlighted the significance of the nationwide awareness program on Poshan Maah.
The program was moderated by Senior Supervisor Obed Magh from the CDPO office, with an invocation prayer led by Anganwadi worker Lonyule Kent. EAC Monosangla Ozukum also led the Poshan pledge, while Kenyuyhunlo Kent, Senior Supervisor at the CDPO office, delivered the vote of thanks.
