DIMAPUR, JULY 12 (MExN): The Office of the Superintendent of Post Offices, Kohima has informed that Circle Level Dak Adalat will be held in the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, North-East Circle, Shillong at 11 AM on July 18.
Informing this, a press release stated that the Dak Adalat will entertain grievances to postal services for its redressal. For this, written complaint must be sent through ordinary post or speed post with the subject Dak Adalat superscribed on the cover, addressed to the Chief Postmaster General, North-East Circle, Shillong-793001.
It said the complaints should contain full details like complete address and registration receipt number etc. for complaints about saving schemes and postal life insurances, the account number, policy number and full address of the depositor/insurer should be given.
Written complaints should be sent so as to reach the concerned office on or before July 17, 2023. Complaints if any received after this period will be redressed through the usual channel. Complaints can also be sent in the email address pg.ne@indiapost.gov.in.
