Poster campaign held in Tuensang town

Tuensang, March 4 (MExN): The District Administration, Tuensang and District Level Centre for Women, Mahila Shakti Kendra Tuensang conducted a poster campaign on March 3 in Tuensang town. According to the organizers, the poster campaign was initiated to create awareness about the importance of girl education, the value and responsibility she holds in the family and society, gender equality and women rights. 30 students from Government Middle School, Station (1) Tuensang town participated in the campaign. S Niamkoi, district coordinator gave a brief introduction about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and urged the students to support their mothers and sisters to set an example and be the agents of change in the society.
