Pow-woW Arena National Level Youth Festival held at Tetso College

Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): A&D Solar Enterprise, in collaboration with Tetso College, organised the Pow-woW Arena National Level Youth Festival 2026 from March 10 to 13 at Tetso College, Dimapur. The festival brought together 33 institutes from across Nagaland and other regions.

St Joseph University (B) won the men’s football event, while Dimapur Government College finished as runners-up. In men’s volleyball, Eastern Christian College secured the title with Dimapur Government College as runners-up, while Dimapur Government College also won the women’s volleyball event with Immanuel College finishing second.

Tetso College won the men’s basketball title, while St Joseph University finished as runners-up. In women’s basketball, St Joseph University won the title and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur placed second.

Patkai Christian College won the chess event. In badminton, Tetso College won the men’s singles, while Royal Global University finished as runners-up. People’s College won the women’s singles, with Fazl Ali College finishing second. Tetso College also won the women’s doubles, while Patkai Christian College finished as runners-up. In men’s doubles, Tetso College secured the title.

In arm wrestling (men), Unity College won both the left-hand and right-hand categories, while Tetso College and St Joseph University finished as runners-up in the respective categories. Sazolie College won the Kene – Naga Wrestling event. Kaziranga University’s Akangjungshi Jamir won the men’s powerlifting event, while Tetso College’s Sillow placed second.

Dimapur Government College won the Mobile Legends event, with Tetso College finishing as runners-up.

Director of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, Kethosituo Sekhose (NCS) attended the closing ceremony as the special guest and presented the overall awards. Tetso College emerged as the overall champions, while Dimapur Government College secured the runners-up position.

Dr Asenla Yanger, HoD, Department of English, Tetso College, greeted the participating students from both external and internal institutes and commended them for the dedication and sportsmanship displayed during the festival. She also spoke about the importance of sports platforms for students and encouraged them to make good use of such opportunities.

The programme also featured performances by the Tetso Dance Club and a special performance by Keneisenuo Sorhie.
