Dimapur, March 17 (MExN): The Power department, through the office of the Executive Engineer, Dimapur Electrical Division has informed pre-paid electricity consumers that the vending station (Pre-paid Recharge center) located at Customer Care Center (CCC) Burma Camp, and Prepaid Recharge Centre, Jain Temple Road, Marwari Patti will be operating from Monday to Saturday except on national holidays.
On weekdays (Monday to Friday), the counters will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm while on Saturdays, the working hours would be from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. The counter will remain closed on Sundays and all national holidays.
“Prepaid consumers are also reminded that, after the installation process of the Pre-Paid meters, it is mandatory to obtain NOC (No Objection Certificate) for the subsequent recharge,” Executive Engineer Y Akito Sema informed in a press release on Thursday.
The release stated that an initial recharge worth Rs 500 would be provided in order to allow the consumers to get ample time to obtain the NOC and update it in the prepaid portal for subsequent recharge. NOC will be issued to those consumers who have cleared all the outstanding arrears, if any, of the post paid meters. Unless NOC is produced at the vending station subsequent recharge will not be possible either at the recharge Centre or online, the release stated.

Consumers opting to recharge online after obtaining NOC and registering its consumer number in the prepaid Portal, can login to prepaid.dopn.gov.in and recharge online and any queries related to pre-paid recharge can be made by contacting the number 8415900400, the release stated.
