Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): Hectic preparations are underway for the 48th General Conference of Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK) to be held at Zutovi village under Dimapur district from December 12-14.
Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya will grace the inaugural session on December 13 at 9:00 am as the chief guest. The special guests for the conference are Y Kikheto Sema, IAS, Secretary Land Resources and Finance and Himato Zhimomi, IFS, Commissioner & Secretary, Government of Nagaland. The main speaker of the conference will be Dr. H. Hotokhu Chishi, Joint Director, Health & Family Welfare. There will be a panel discussion on ‘career guidance & livelihood’ on December 14 at 8:00 am, stated a press release from the Media and Publicity Committee of the General Conference.
A host of leaders including Sumi Hoho President, Hekushe Shikhu; NSF President, Kesosul Christopher Ltu; Western Sumi Hoho President, Zheshito Swu; Phom Students’ Conference President, Hongkam D. Ngonyen; Ao Students’ Conference President, Imkongwati; Lotha Students’ Union President, Lipemo M Tsopoe will also deliver greetings during the conference.
Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee and host have invited Sumi leaders involved in social and church activities to be a part of the conference and encourage the students with their presence.
