Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): With the spread of vector borne diseases like the Chikungunya and Dengue spreading around in the country and people visiting the national capital New Delhi, there are possibilities of this epidemic being carried to our state as well. In this apprehension, Hazi Park Businessmen Welfare Committee (HPBWC), Dimapur under its President, Hukato V. Achumi with the help of the Urban Vector Borne Diseases Scheme (UVBDS) Dimapur undertook spraying of “Temphos 50% EC” under the brand name of Temper in the vicinity of Pranab Vidyapith School, Railway High School, West Yard Bazaar and the adjoining areas as a preventive measure. In this connection, the HPBWC Vice President, Tarun Nandi in a press release has acknowledged Assistant Director (Urban), UBVDS, Kikolul Khieya and his field staff for undertaking the work.
