Professional training for headmasters concludes

Kohima, April 29 (MExN): The three days ‘professional training for headmasters’ concluded on April 28 at the Multipurpose Hall, Administrative Training Institute, Kohima.  

The programme was inaugurated by FP Solo, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland (School Education &SCERT, Department) on April 26. The chief guest exhorted more than a hundred Headmasters from different Government schools from all over the state, a press release informed.  

He congratulated RMSA for successfully completing the recruitment process of headmasters and said that just the name ‘headmaster’ is very respectable. Hence, they should work sincerely and keep up the name.  

He stressed on the importance of different topics that were scheduled in the training. Pressing on the need to learn things properly, he said that only then can they teach the students and the society well. He also cautioned about teaching wrong things to the people.  

The topics were Records Management by L. Youdang Jamir, Joint Director, ATI; The Nagaland Government Servant Conduct Rules 1968, The Nagaland Services Discipline and Appeal Rules 1967, Different Forms of Communication, Noting and Drafting Skills, Leave Rules and  Right to Information Act 2005 by Dr. Hovithal N. Sothu, Deputy Director (Training), ATI;  SMDC Role and functions, School Improvement Plan By Dr. Khatoli, AMD,RMSA, U-DISE; and DATA capture format by Lhoukuo Chüsi, State Coordinator RMSA; and Financial Management by Nichiyi, RMSA.
