Dimapur, Dec 27 (MExN): NSCN-IM General Secretary Th. Muivah is confident in his stride because he is a “free man” through Christ, who will “be with me, with you, with everyone and do not doubt” because “that problem is solved.” The NSCN-IM leader in his message at a Christmas programme – for once shorn of any political notes pertinent to the Naga issue – on the 25th at New Delhi said he felt “safe” for the reason that Jesus is there and “I am proud of him”. In the programme was also in attendance MP Kaushal, former emissary of the Government of India to the Indo-Naga peace talks. Later talking to reporters, Muivah expressed hope that “better things will come up”. He also informed that the date of the next round of formal peace talks is yet to be set. He nevertheless expects it early next year.
“There is no greater message for me then the birth of Jesus Christ for whom I am sure for me, so I feel I am safe, safe in the savior Jesus Christ alone. So I will be for Christ and I am proud of him” he told the gathering of fellow guerillas and students who had gathered at 61 Lodhi estate for a Christmas programme.
Muivah said God knew He was alone to save the world and that He alone can save it. “He knew that, He knew that because there was no other god to save the lost world. Out of His love and grace He decided to save the world. He had to go down to the earth” Muivah pointed out to a cheering lot as he shared on Jesus’ advent into the world.
“This way God came down and saved the sinners. Yes, He is the saviour. Today we hear and we celebrate this greatest work of salvation done by God. A virgin shall bear a child and give birth to it and the name shall be called Emmanuel, meaning ‘God is with us’. No separation any more through grace through love. God has come down here to carry me up into heaven. Thank God that is the God who solves the problem, the greatest problem never solved by human being. The greatest problem solved by Him and that is saving sinners like me through Jesus Christ who is born here on earth in a winter season. Thank God. I understand His love, His grace. He came down and searches me and saves me. I have my decision on heaven on account of my saviour Jesus Christ. Thank God so much” the guerilla leader said.
“Is there any bigger or harder problem than the issue between God and the fallen World? No. No. The history that is written in the Holy Bible is the only history that has solved the hardest problem. Thank God so much. I am a free man through Jesus Christ my saviour and I know Jesus will go with me anywhere because Emmanuel His name is. He will be with me, with you, with everyone. Do not doubt. That problem is solved” he added satisfied.
