Kohima, December 28 (MExN): The Phek Sports’ Association (PSA) is organizing the 2nd edition of open penalty shoot-out tournament 2021 for both men and women on January 15 at Phek village.
Khosapa Venuh, President, Phek District Congress Committee will be the special guest.
Registration fee for men and women stands at Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 respectively.
PSA President Surhoneyi Soho informed that the last date for submission of form has been fixed on January 14.
Registration form will be made available at Bamboo Grove, Jericho II colony Phek town, Keyho’s Enterprise, Bethel Colony, opposite Red Cross Building, Phek town and OZ Print, opposite Baptist Church, Phek village.
The champion in men’s category will win Rs 30,000 sponsored by Krodi Rhetso, commandant 5th NAP Phek; runner-up - Rs. 20,000 sponsored by Chikho Nienu, Class 1 contractor; 3rd prize - Rs. 5000 by Nuchikhoyi Rhakho of Rhoto Sports Agency; and 4th prize - Rs. 3000 by Khosanieyi Venuh, Vice President, NPF Phek town unit.
The champion in women’s category will fetch Rs. 10,000 sponsored by Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Phek; runner-up - Rs. 7000 by Namang Sepong Chang- SDO (C) Phek; 3rd prize - Rs. 3000 by Er. Thselo Lasuh, PHED Phek; and 4th prize - Rs. 2000 by Wetezo Lohe, public leader.
Further, PSA has announced individual Golden Glove prize of Rs. 1000 each for both men and women.
The participants have been asked to maintain COVID-19 SOPs issued by the state government.
