Dimapur, August 21 (MExN): The Phek and Wokha units of PWD Field Workers Association have jointly issued a statement in support of the press release issued by the All Nagaland PWD Field Workers Association PWD (R&B) Housing and NH dated June 2, demanding “full implementation of 67 % quota reservation for regularization of work charged employees.”
Chumthungo Yanthan, president, PWD Field Workers Association, Wokha unit and Ruyosayi, Executive Member, PWD Field Workers Association, Phek unit in the joint statement said, “Most of the work charged employees have been rendering service into the department since many years. However, they may not get regularization in service, since several genuine work charged employees are waiting for regularization under the 67 % quota reservation.”
The two units, therefore, appealed to the department concerned not to make any new appointment and unitize all normal vacancies for regularization of work charged employees as per P&AR Department's Office Memorandum No. AR-3/Gen-201/2009 dated Kohima March 17, 2015.
