Kohima, April 6 (MExN): Apropos the recent news report on arrest of a gun repair shop owner by 19 Assam Rifles in Kohima, the Pfutseromi Welfare Society Kohima (PWSK) has stated that the arrested person, Savilie Ritse from Pfutseromi village, holds an authorized license for repairing guns since 2012. However, PWSK President, Kedoulhite Kapfo in a rejoinder said, on March 29 around 1:00 pm, the 19 Assam Rifles suddenly appeared and arrested him and seized the guns which were kept in his custody for repair. The rejoinder affirmed that as far as the PWSK is concerned, Savilie does not repair guns for any political organization; he is an “innocent” public who earns livelihood for his family. “Therefore, he should not be labeled of having acquaintance with any faction.”
