Kohima, January 18 (DIPR): A review meeting for the Republic Day celebration, 2018 convened by the Home Commissioner was held on January 18.
The meeting reiterated the compulsory attendance of all government officials and staff at the flag hoisting ceremony. Attendance to be recorded by respective department will be submitted to Home Department. Governor of Nagaland, P.B. Acharya will hoist the National Flag to mark the event. March past, presentation of meritorious awards, exhibition by various departments, cultural performances, inter-ward tug-of-war competition and exhibition football match in the evening will be the highlights of the celebration.
