
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 12 (MExN): Pondicherry trailed Nagaland by 84 Runs at the end of day one of their Ranji Trophy match at the SLIMS Cricket Ground in Puducherry.
Batting first, Nagaland were bowled out for 176 runs in 62.3 overs. Guest player and India International, Stuart Binny scored 59 runs, alongwith contributions from Imliwati (39 runs) and YV Takawale (26 runs).
For Pondicherry, Sagar V Trivedi and Sagar P Udeshi took 3 wickets each while Santhamorthy bagged 2 wickets, and Vinay Kumar and Rohit took 1 wicket each.
In Podicherry’s first innings, they managed to score 92 runs for the loss of two wickets in 27 overs before the end of the first day’s play.
SS Mundhe and Imliwati bagged a wicket each for Nagaland.
