RCoD honors Govt teachers with ‘Nation Builder Award’

Dimapur, September 8 (MExN): The Rotary Club of Dimapur (RCD) celebrated teacher’s day on September 5 at Rotary Centre, Dimapur and honored government and government aided schools teachers with ‘Nation Builder Award (NBA).’
This is an initiative of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) for their endeavor in imparting knowledge to the students and in building the nations, informed a press release issued by Ashok Kumar Agarwal, President RCD.
It stated that the selection process of this award is done through evaluation by the students and the head of the institution and the report is sent to RILM which recognizes the awardees.
This year the members of RCD visited fifteen schools to select the best teacher of the respective schools and the awardees were honored as an “outstanding teacher” in the programme marking the celebration of 131th birth anniversary of S Radhakrishnan, and were presented the NBA citation of Rotary India Literacy Mission.
The recipients of the NBA of the RCD are as follows: Bendangsenla (GPS LINGRIJAN); Imtisenla (GPS Naga New Model Angami); Zavituonuo (GPS Eralibill); Alila Imsong (GPS/GMS Indinsen); D.Lolia Woch (GPS/GMS KUDA ,Nagarjan); Rosy (GPS/GMS Lhomiti Colony); Imtinaro (GPS/MS Naga New Model Ao); Tonilo C Swu (GPS/GMS Naga New Model Sumi); Tolitoli (GPS/GMS MIDLAND); Kameshwar (GPS/GMS Sematila); Mongli (GPS/GMS VETINARY); Yabangla (GPS/GMS SIGNAL ANGAMI); Sunohi (GPS/GMS Y ZHIMO); L.Atoni (Govt Town Middle School) and Roma Saha (Janta English LP School).
